Welcome to StudioMaiju! These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through studiomaiju.com and govern your use of StudioMaiju's website, digital products, templates, and related services.
By purchasing a product or service from StudioMaiju, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

StudioMaiju offers digital website templates, website design services, branding services, and other digital products and services. Each product or service page describes what is included, what you can expect to receive, and any specific terms that apply to that purchase.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue products and services. Any changes will not affect an order that has already been completed unless otherwise required by law.
3. Orders and payment
When you place an order, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.
Prices are displayed on the relevant product or service page and include VAT where applicable. Available payment methods and any payment terms are shown during checkout.
Your order becomes binding once your purchase has been successfully completed and you have received an order confirmation.
Payments made through the online store are processed through secure payment service providers. Payments are processed using ThriveCart and the payment services available through it, such as Stripe.
StudioMaiju does not directly process or store payment card information. Payment information is handled in accordance with the applicable payment service provider’s own terms, privacy policies, and other applicable policies.
Payment service providers are responsible for processing payments and maintaining the technical security measures related to their services.
As part of a payment transaction, information necessary to process the payment, confirm the order, prevent fraud, and authenticate the payment may be processed. This information may also be processed by the payment service provider, the payment card issuer, or another payment service provider involved in the transaction.

4. Digital products and delivery
Digital products, including website templates, are delivered electronically.
Once your purchase has been completed, you will receive access to your purchased product according to the delivery method described on the product page or at checkout.
Because digital products are delivered electronically, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a compatible device, internet connection, and any required third-party accounts needed to use the product.
5. Right of withdrawal for digital products
Under applicable consumer protection legislation, consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online.
For digital content delivered electronically, you may lose your right of withdrawal when:

When you purchase a StudioMaiju website template, you are purchasing a license to use that template, not ownership of the underlying template design or intellectual property.
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template for one website for your own business or brand.

Images, photographs, graphics, illustrations, and other visual content displayed on the StudioMaiju website are owned by StudioMaiju or used under an appropriate license.
Unless you have received separate written permission, you may not download, reproduce, screenshot, edit, republish, or use these materials for your own website, social media, marketing, portfolio, or other commercial or personal purposes.
The same applies to StudioMaiju's original written content and copy.
10. Third-party platforms
Some StudioMaiju products and services use third-party platforms, including Showit and other software or services.
Your use of these third-party platforms is subject to their own terms, policies, pricing, and technical requirements.
StudioMaiju is not responsible for changes, outages, limitations, or issues caused by third-party platforms outside of our control.
11. Updates and support
Template purchases may include access to updates, resources, or support as specifically described on the relevant product page.
Any support included with your purchase does not include unlimited custom design, copywriting, website development, or ongoing website management unless explicitly stated.
We may update templates, resources, or educational materials from time to time. We do not guarantee that every future update or feature will be available for every previous purchase unless explicitly stated.
12. Errors and defects
We aim to ensure that all products and services are delivered as described and function as intended.
If you believe a digital product contains a defect or does not correspond to what was agreed, please contact us at maiju@studiomaiju.com and describe the issue.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have regarding defective digital content or services.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, StudioMaiju is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of business, loss of income, loss of data, or other consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary, for example due to changes in our products, services, or applicable legislation.
The version that applies to your purchase is the version in effect when you place your order, unless a change is required by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and protections provided by the consumer protection legislation applicable to you.

6. Template license
When you purchase a StudioMaiju website template, you are purchasing a license to use that template, not ownership of the underlying template design or intellectual property.
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template for one website for your own business or brand.
You may:
- customise the template for your own website;
- change the colours, fonts, images, copy, layouts, sections, and other elements;
- adapt the template to fit your brand and business;
- use the finished customized website for your own business.
7. What you cannot do with a template
Your template purchase is for one website only.
You may not:
- use the same template purchase for multiple websites;
- use the template for multiple businesses or brands;
- use a purchased template to create websites for clients or other third parties;
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give away the template;
- share your template files, access, or download links with another person;
- allow another person or business to use the template through your purchase;
- upload or distribute the template or its files elsewhere;
- use the template as the basis for creating and selling another website template or similar digital product;
- claim the original StudioMaiju template design as your own.
If you want to use the same template for another website or business, you must purchase an additional license where available.
If you are a web designer, developer, or agency and would like to use a StudioMaiju template for a client project, please contact us about the appropriate licensing options before purchasing.
8. Intellectual property
All StudioMaiju content and materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, this includes our:
- website designs and layouts;
- website copy and written content;
- templates and template designs;
- graphics, illustrations, icons, patterns, and other visual assets;
- photographs and images owned or licensed by StudioMaiju;
- videos and other media;
- branding and visual identity;
- educational materials, guides, and resources;
- code and custom website functionality.
Purchasing a product or service from StudioMaiju does not transfer ownership of these materials to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, or otherwise use StudioMaiju's original content or materials outside the rights specifically granted to you under these Terms & Conditions.
9. Website images and content
Images, photographs, graphics, illustrations, and other visual content displayed on the StudioMaiju website are owned by StudioMaiju or used under an appropriate license.
